shifting to a higher timeline
today i want to discuss the concept of being proactive versus reactive.
we all know this concept. but kabbalah explains why this concept is important.
when we are being proactive over reactive, we become the cause rather than the effect. and when we are the cause, we elevate ourselves into our creator consciousness. because when you are the cause, you are the creator.
this doesn’t mean we’re supposed to control our circumstances, but it does mean we have the power to create the meaning we give to our circumstances.
let’s say you’re in a situation that triggers you. your first instinct is to be reactive and blame, lash out, etc. when we are reactive, we become the effect of our circumstances. and being the effect is the opposite of being the cause. thus, we become the opposite of creator consciousness. which many times looks like some version of victim consciousness.
on the other hand, if you respond to the situation with a proactive mindset by pausing and telling yourself this situation is — for example — an opportunity for growth or an opportunity to master a lesson you never want to come back to again…now you become the cause and not the effect.
because rather than letting that situation have power over you, you gave yourself power over the situation by assigning, creating an elevated meaning to the circumstance. same circumstance, different consciousness.
kabbalah also explains that this is a way to elevate into a higher destiny, a higher timeline for ourselves.
every time we respond to a situation by being proactive rather than reactive, that effort in itself shifts us to a higher timeline.
and if the concept of a higher timeline doesn’t resonate, think of it as elevating to a higher sequence of events. because each choice, each decision we make leads to different sequences of events.
in every moment, we have access to an infinite number of various realities. various ways our lives can play out. but the one we shift into depends on our present moment consciousness and moment-by-moment decisions.
we are changing our destiny in every single moment based on the choices we make now. one choice can lead us to a higher timeline (or sequence of events), and another choice can lead us to a lower timeline.
so the simple act of choosing to pause before you react, and create a new, more empowering meaning out of a situation — elevates your destiny and puts you on a higher sequence of events.
